Three people arrested during vehicle search in Plymouth

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. – Three people were arrested after police found methamphetamine and other items in a vehicle on Sunday, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office announced.

On Sunday, officers were investigating a suspicious vehicle in the 19000 block of 9C Road when they found a handgun, ammunition, hypodermic needle, and suspected methamphetamine inside.

Officers arrested three people who were in the vehicle at the time.

Mikayla Penrod, 22, of Plymouth, was arrested on the charges of possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of marijuana.

Isreal Wolford, Jr., 30, of Tippecanoe, was arrested on the charges of possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and carrying a handgun without a license.

Penrod and Wolford are being held on $1,500 cash bonds.

A passenger in the vehicle, 50-year-old Earnest Lee Keaton,  Jr. of Plymouth, was found to have an active felony arrest warrant.
