Three people arrested in Cass County Drug Enforcement Team investigation
CASS COUNTY, Mich. – Three people were arrested following a search warrant that uncovered methamphetamine and paraphernalia in Howard Township, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office announced.
On Wednesday, detectives with the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team and the Cass County Warrant Service Team performed a search warrant in the 1300 block of Zilke Road.
The warrant was performed because of suspicions that the selling and use of illegal drugs was taking place and that weapons were in the residence.
Five people were detained at the residence.
During a search of the home, detectives found methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, evidence of methamphetamine sales, and firearms, according to reports.
K-9 Tolle also assisted detectives during the search.
A 58-year-old man was arrested on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and felony firearms.
A 38-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants.
Suspect names are being withheld pending arraignment.
