Three Rivers police identify human remains as those of man missing since Christmas

THREE RIVERS, Mich. – The human remains found in a wooded area on April 11 belong to 66-year-old David Michael Abrams, who went missing on Christmas Day, the Three Rivers Police Department announced.

On April 11, a man called police saying he was walking his dog in a wooded area in the 300 block of Second Avenue when he came across the remains of a body, reports said.

On Tuesday, the remains were identified as those of Abrams.

Police are investigating a cause of death.
