Three-year-old girl shot at indoor amusement center in Michigan

LANSING, Mich.—A three-year-old girl was shot while at an indoor amusement center on Tuesday, according to the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office.

Police were called to Zap Zone in Delta Township around 8 p.m. on Tuesday for a report of shots fired.

Deputies learned that a three-year-old girl had been shot, the sheriff's office said.

The victim was taken to the hospital and as of Wednesday, was listed as being in stable condition after surgery, according to police.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses and processing evidence taken from the crime scene.

Police did not release additional information about the incident but the investigation is ongoing.
