'Thrill on the Hill' still on despite no snow

BUCHANAN, Mich. -- Despite some warmer and rainy weather, the City of Buchanan said it will have some fun in the snow this weekend!
The Thrill on the Hill is scheduled to start Friday night.
Crews plan to cover 850 feet of Front Street with 6 to 8-inches of snow.
To do it, they are trucking in snow from parking lots all over Buchanan!
“Yeah, there is a little concern, but I’ve been told by our DPW personnel that we have plenty of snow around town to bring in and create the hill, so we're looking forward to that,” said Police Chief Bill Marx.
Tickets for the Thrill on the Hill are available at city hall.
