Tour performs at Discovery Middle school to inspire students to learn

GRANGER, Ind. -- Thursday Honeywell and NASA's Hip-Hop Physics Tour performed at Discovery Middle School.

The hip-hop education program aims to inspire middle school students to learn and enjoy math and science in a fun and compelling way.

The program connects basic laws of physics to potential science and engineering careers.

"Great learning experience for them. They’re getting the message to kids that science is important and technology is important and it's part of our daily lives. They’ll be using this throughout their lives," said assistant principal Troy Kauffman.

The award winning action packed show called Forces in Motion uses hip-hop music, dance, larger-than-life demonstrations, and audience participation to engage students.
