NORTH LIBERTY, Ind. -- Potato Creek State Park has two track chairs that can go out on trails 1,2,4, and 5 to take in some of the breath-taking fall foliage happening at the park.
The chairs are designed for wheelchair users and guests with disabilities so they can more easily travel park trails.
These track chairs are designed to handle all four seasons of Michiana weather, other than being in the rain.
All you have to do to use a chair is call and reserve one ahead of time, go to the Nature Center at the park and get some quick training, then you can head out on the trails.
For more information on accessibility at Potato Creek State Park visit the Indiana Department of Natural Resources website.
