Mostly cloudy skies today with rain moving in this afternoon. We get a break from the rain late tonight into tomorrow morning, before the next round moves in Thursday afternoon. There will be two rounds of it on Thursday. The first will mainly be rain, maybe a rumble of thunder, the second round late that evening into the night. The second round brings our first concern of the year for stronger thunderstorms and an isolated severe storm cannot be ruled out. Make sure you’re staying weather aware and download the ABC 57 Weather App to get alerts sent directly to your phone.
Behind this system, temperatures will drop drastically for Friday with breezy conditions. It’s quiet and brighter over the weekend. Just a bit on the chilly side with upper 30s to low 40s for daytime highs.
Today: Rain likely by the afternoon. High 48.
Tonight: Cloudy, isolated shower possible. Low 42.
Thursday: Rain showers. Thunder possible. High 64.
Friday: Breezy, colder, temps fall from 56.
