Traffic crash takes out stoplight at Lincolnway and Byrkit

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Mishawaka Police want motorists to be aware of traffic delays at the intersection of Lincolnway and Byrkit. The intersection is temporarily a four-way stop.

Police were called to the intersection around 10:40 a.m. Friday for a traffic crash.

The crash took out one of the traffic signals.

One of the signals was removed and the other three are now flashing red.

Four way stop signs are in place at the intersection until the stoplight can be replaced.

Drivers should expect delays due to the four-way stop.
