Transpo, city team up for kids summer travel pass

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Transpo is teaming up with South Bend Parks and Rec, providing a summer city bus pass for kids in kindergarten through 12th grade.
South Bend is trying to get kids to be healthy.
It is just $30 for the whole summer.
The buses will take kids to city parks and the free summer lunch locations.
"I know that there are kids in this community that find it tough to get three meals a day so for us to have that option to offer lunches around the community is important not just for activity but to get some healthy eating in," said Phil St. Clair.
The pass runs from June 5 to August 12.
