SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Transpo will offer free rides Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for passengers because of the extreme cold.
Passengers can save between $1 and $3 because of the free fares.
The free rides are a way to help South Bend residents where they need to go.
"For those individuals that still need to get out in the community, to get to their jobs, to get to additional resources, we wanted to make sure we provided an easy option for them," Amy Hill of Transpo said.
