Tree cutting accident kills Michigan man

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- A 44-year-old Michigan man is dead after a tree cutting accident in his backyard.
The Van Buren County Sheriff's Department said it happened on County Road 338 in Columbia Township.
Emergency crews found 44-year-old Andrew Schaefer unconscious and severely bleeding from the head.
Officers say a tree limb fell 25-30 feet and hit him around 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
Schaefer was airlifted to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo where he later died.
