Trial delayed for suspect in murder of pregnant Mishawaka teen

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—The trial for a suspect in the December 2018 murder of a pregnant Mishawaka teen was delayed on Monday.

Aaron Trejo is due back in front of a judge on August 12. The trial has been delayed until September 9 because evidence is still being vetted.

Trejo is accused of killing Breana Rouhselang and her unborn child in December of 2018. He is charged with one count of murder and one count of feticide, which he pleaded not guilty to on December 11.

Both Trejo’s and Rouhselang’s families were present during the May 20 court date but did not wish to speak with the media.
