Triton School Corporation looking for crossing guards

BOURBON, IN -- Triton School Corporation and the Town of Bourbon are teaming up to keep students safe. They are looking to hire crossing guards for students that walk to school.

School officials released a statement saying they are looking for three or four individuals who would like to help the town and the school keep students safe crossing the intersections of Liberty and Harris and Main and Liberty.

Two years ago the Triton Transportation Department expanded their bus routes to cut down on some of the walker traffic, so student did not have to cross busy intersections.

If you are interested in helping out in the afternoons from 3 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., you are asked to contact Superintendent Jeremy Riffle.
