Tropical Storm Lee downgraded to depression

U.S.-Tropical Storm Lee has been officially down-graded to a tropical depression, but the storm has left quite the trail of destruction in its path since blowing on shore, while the biggest concern along the Gulf Coast has been flooding.

Rain may not be the only thing Lee had to offer. Those living in Southern Alabama will be spending their Labor Day cleaning up after high winds, downed several trees and even damaging homes. Some believe a tornado may be to blame.

The National Weather Service has not confirmed whether a tornado touched down, although there were several tornado warnings issued as the storm made landfall. Lee washed onshore in Louisiana Sunday, dumping more than a foot of rain in New Orleans alone.
