Halloween 2023 and 2024: Two different spooky forecasts
SOUTH BEND, Ind. — A Notre Dame tradition that began 31 years ago, Trumpets Under the Dome continues to attract locals and visitors alike to campus on home football Fridays.
Trumpets Under the Dome began in 1993, the night before Notre Dame's major matchup with Florida State. It has continued to grow in popularity, as well as evolving over time.
Not only did the much-anticipated trumpet section of the Notre Dame Band play out front of the Golden Dome, but the drumline opened the afternoon performance at 4 p.m., and the entire band played in conclusion.
The band then processes to practice, as fans follow closely behind along the walk, through campus.
The whole performance is truly a must see, and a must hear, for a home Irish football weekend.
