Two adults arrested after teenagers found drinking in Goshen park

GOSHEN, Ind. – Two adults were arrested after five teenagers were found drinking alcohol in a park, the Goshen Police Department reported.

At 7:59 p.m. on Saturday, officers were called to Abshire Park for a report of juveniles consuming alcohol.

After a breathalyzer test, officers found that five teenagers under the age of 18 had consumed alcohol.

Aysiah Ortiz, 18, of Goshen, was arrested for possession of marijuana and a controlled substance and taken to the Elkhart County Jail.

Isiah Johnson, 21, of Goshen, was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Johnson was released pending a future court date.

The five juveniles were released to their parents pending a future court date.
