Two arrested after SWET month-long narcotics investigation
Michigan State Police CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET), Cass County Sheriff and Animal Control, and Michigan State police executed a search warrant on Feb. 25 in the 1200 block of M-60 Highway, following a month-long narcotics investigation.
Detectives obtained more than 35 grams of crystal methamphetamine, over a dozen Suboxone strips, a stolen replica firearm, and additional evidence indicative of drug distribution, including devices used for weighing narcotics.
A 52-year-old Newberg man was arrested and lodged in the Cass County Jail for Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property, Possession of Methamphetamine, and two outstanding felony warrants out of St. Joseph County, Michigan.
A 50-year-old Three Rivers woman, currently on parole for drug offenses, was also arrested and lodged in the Cass County Jail for Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, her second offense, Maintaining a Drug Vehicle, Possession of a Barbiturate/Analogue, and Parole Violation.
