Two arrested following drug investigation stemming from citizen’s tip

LAKEVILLE, Ind. – Two people were arrested on Friday following a drug investigation that began with citizen complaints, Indiana State Police reported.
At 8:45 a.m., troopers with the Indiana State Police Bremen Post’s All Crimes Policing Team performed a search warrant on a residence in the 300 block of South Main Street.
During the search, troopers found suspected methamphetamine, pills, and drug paraphernalia, according to reports.
Brandi Scott, 34, and Jason Ewing, 39, both of Lakeville, were arrested for the following:
- Dealing methamphetamine
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Possession of a legend drug
- Possession of a schedule II drug
- Possession of paraphernalia
- Maintaining a common nuisance
Both were taken to the St. Joseph County Jail.
Two children who were in the home at the time of the search were released to a relative after a report was sent to the Indiana Department of Child Services.
