Two arrested for cocaine, marijuana possession in Plymouth

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. - Two people were arrested for cocaine and marijuana possession following a traffic stop in Plymouth on Thursday, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.

At 5 p.m., a deputy pulled over a vehicle in the area of Novelty and Walnut streets.

During the traffic stop, K9 Officer Diesel performed an open-air sniff around the vehicle and picked up the scent of narcotic odors, reports said.

The deputy searched the vehicle and found suspected cocaine and marijuana, according to reports.

The driver of the vehicle, 33-year-old Andres Rosas of Plymouth, was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked on the following charges:

  • Possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug less than 5 grams when an enhancing circumstance applies
  • Possession of marijuana with a prior drug offense conviction

The passenger, 40-year-old Rolando Carrillo of South Bend, was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked on the following charges:

  • Possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug less than 5 grams
  • Possession of marijuana
