Two arrested in Cass County drug bust

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – Two people were arrested after a search by the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team found methamphetamine and ecstasy, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported.

On Wednesday, detectives performed a search warrant on a residence in the 70000 block of Oak Drive in Ontwa Township.

While investigating, detectives detained two individuals inside the residence.

During a search of the residence, detectives found methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, and ecstasy, reports said.

A 36-year-old male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house, police said.

A 35-year-old female was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and outstanding felony warrants, police said.

This is an ongoing investigation.
