CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff's Office announced the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team conducted a joint investigation with the Michigan Department of Corrections on Thursday around 5 p.m. at a residence in the 300 block of Orchard Street.

During a search of the residence, the report states detectives located methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, and evidence of methamphetamine distribution.

Authorities then arrested a 44-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman.

The man arrested for maintaining a drug house and possession of methamphetamine.

The woman was arrested for possession methamphetamine.

The suspects' names are withheld pending arraignment on the charges in the 4th district court.

The investigation remains ongoing.
