Two benefits to help family of two sisters killed in car accident

HOWARD TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- The Niles Community will hold two benefits to help the True family.

Last Tuesday, sisters Sophia True, 6, and Julianna Brown, 9, died when the car they were riding in was t-boned on M-60 in Howard Township. Their sister, Penelope True, 4, is still in the hospital.

The first benefit is tomorrow at Wings, Etc. on 11th Street. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to help the family.

There will also be a spaghetti dinner Thurs. Sept. 20 at the Rise and Shine Cafe on Detroit road from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The dinner is $7 includes all you can eat spaghetti, garlic bread and salad bar. Drinks are $1. The dinner is $4 for kids under 12. All proceeds will go to the family.
