Two dead following water rescue at Warren Dunes State Park

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – Two juveniles have died following a water rescue at Warren Dunes State Park on Sunday, the Baroda-Lake Police Department announced.

At 6:18 p.m., four South Bend-area juveniles were reported in distress in the water, prompting the rescue.

Two of the boys were helped to shore by bystanders.

First-responders recovered the other two boys from the water.
