Coan played for the Irish in the 2021 season after playing 4 seasons in Wisconsin.
Coan, 6-3, 218 pounds, played in 38 games (31 starts) in his time at Notre Dame (2021) and Wisconsin (2017-19) and completed 550-of-823 passes for 6,428 yards with 48 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. He also registered seven rushing touchdowns. Coan was an All-Big Ten honorable mention choice in 2019 and a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree (2018, 2019). In 2021, he started all 13 games for the Irish and completed 253-of-386 passes for 3,150 yards with 25 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Coan also tallied two rushing touchdowns.
Michael Young Jr played at Notre Dame in 2018, then played for Cincinnati.
Young Jr., 5-10, 190 pounds, played in 50 games at Cincinnati (2020-21) and Notre Dame (2017-19) and compiled 74 receptions for 862 yards (11.6 avg.) and seven touchdowns. He also registered 12 kickoff returns for 257 yards (21.4 avg.). Young Jr. was a Second Team All-AAC selection in 2020. In 2021, he appeared in 11 games and totaled 28 receptions for 353 yards (12.6 avg.) and two touchdowns.
