Two Indiana soldiers killed in Afghanistan

INDIANA -- Two families are mourning the loss of their loved ones.
The National Guard says that 20-year-old Specialist Nick Taylor and 21-year-old Specialist Sergio Perez were killed in Afghanistan on Monday.
Both were members of the 713th Engineer Company out of Valparaiso.
Gov. Mitch Daniels in a statement about the two soldiers deaths said:
“Every such loss is a heart break. We are hit with special*severity here because of the casualties this heroic unit has already endured. No guard unit in my memory has been assigned a more dangerous mission. We see the incredible risks these citizen-soldiers volunteer to run for the rest of us."
