Two marijuana grow operations shut down in LaPorte

LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- Two marijuana grow operations were shut down by LaPorte County Metro Operations and the Indiana State Police.
One grow operation was found in the 9800 west block of CR 300 North in Coolspring Township. Police say 73 plants were seized from this location.
The second operation was found in the 3600 block of Brookside Drive in Long Beach. Police say they seized 13 plants from this location.
Police say the marijuana harvested from each plant is valued at between $1,000 and $1500.
The sites were located by Indiana State Police fly-overs.
