Two people arrested after 75 grams of mushrooms, over 3,700 grams of marijuana found in home
ELKHART, Ind. – Two people were arrested on Wednesday after officers found suspected marijuana and mushrooms in a residence, the Elkhart Police Department reported.
At 10:29 p.m., officers performed a search warrant in the 2000 block of Shaffer Avenue in regards to a short-term narcotics investigation.
During the search, officers located two suspects and two children inside the residence.
While searching the residence, officers found two handguns, over 3,700 grams of marijuana, and over 75 grams of mushrooms, according to reports.
37-year-old John Deboe of Elkhart was arrested for dealing marijuana, dealing a controlled substance, neglect of a dependent, and maintain a common nuisance.
27-year-old April Deboe of Elkhart was arrested for dealing marijuana, dealing a controlled substance, neglect of a dependent, and maintain a common nuisance.
