SOUTH BEND, Ind. – St. Joseph County Dispatch has confirmed shots fired in the 1200 block of Campeau Street Wednesday evening.
The call came in at 5:45 p.m. near Coquillard Park.
There was a cookout in the park when a car drove by and more than 30 shots were fired, officials said.
Two people were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
The first victim, a male, was found on a porch near the park with injuries to his upper body.
The second was found on Main Street headed towards a hospital.
At least one home was hit by bullets but no one was injured.
There is currently no information on the suspect of this shooting.
