Two people injured in shooting on Jamestown Court
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Two people were injured in a shooting on Jamestown Court early Thursday morning, according to St. Joseph County dispatch.
Police were called to the 4700 block of W. Jamestown Court around midnight for reports of shots fired.
When officers arrived on scene, they found one shooting victim with injuries to the lower body.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Another victim at the scene had an injury to the thumb. There is no reason to believe this victim was shot, South Bend Police said.
The shooting remains under investigation.
