Two people sent to the hospital after a car crash

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office released information for a crash that was reported at 11:28 a.m. on Wednesday on SR 15, south of U.S. 6, that sent both drivers to the hospital.

Police say one vehicle, traveling north on SR 15, was stopped in traffic before being rear-ended by another northbound vehicle.

Both drivers were transported to Goshen General Hospital for injuries that are not life threatening.

The driver that initiated the crash was cited for following too closely, police say.

Police say that drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the collision.
