Two suspects arrested after drug-related search warrants served in Benton Harbor
BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich.— Two suspects were arrested and booked into the Berrien County Jail after an investigation conducted by the Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET).
SWET-West detectives and other law enforcement agencies executed two search warrants in Benton Harbor on September 25.
The first warrant was served at a home in the 1000 block of Pearl Street.
Officers located a suspect, John Parson, 58, along with crack cocaine packaged for sales and distribution, a pistol and other evidence of drug sales, according to police.
Parson was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, felony firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, and maintaining a drug house, reports said.
A second search warrant was served at a home in the 1100 block of LaVette.
Officers found a suspect, Miriam Parson, 57, along with crack cocaine and other items investigators say are related to narcotics trafficking, police said.
Miriam was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine and maintaining a drug house, according to police.
Both suspects were booked into the Berrien County Jail.
