Tyzzer family accidental turkey farmers

FORTVILLE, Ind. -- You've heard of people taking in stray cats and dogs, but what about taking in wild turkeys?

The Tyzzers raise turkeys on their farm about 25 miles north of Indianapolis, but that wasn't always the case. Four years ago, seven turkeys showed up at their home and stayed. Overnight, the couple became instant turkey farmers, and now have over 70 birds.

The Tyzzers still have their day jobs for now, but they hope to develop their turkey farm once they retire.
