United Way accepts nominations for leadership

(ABC). --United Way has accepted nominations for volunteer leadership awards along with applications for volunteer youth scholarships.

United Way of Southwest Michigan has recognized outstanding volunteers in Berrien, Cass and Van Buren counties of all ages, yearly.

United Way of Southwest Michigan seeks nominations for the Margaret B. Upton Volunteer Leadership Award, which is a lifetime achievement award given to one outstanding Berrien County volunteer with a history of over 10 years of service.

Kathy Rossow was the 2022 winner of the Margaret B. Upton Volunteer Leadership Award.

United Way of Southwest Michigan accepts the nominations for the Judge Susan L. Dobrich Volunteer Leadership Award for Cass County, another lifetime achievement award, debuting last year, named in honor of Cass County's retired Chief Judge Susan L. Dobrich.

This award will be presented to a Cass County volunteer who demonstrates over eight years of volunteer contributions.

Chris D. Bergen was the 2022 winner of the Judge Susan L. Dobrich Volunteer Leadership Award for Cass County.

United Way of Southwest Michigan accepts nominations applications for its yearly Volunteer United Youth Scholarships.

One winner will be chosen from Berrien, Cass and Van Buren County, with the 2022 winners being Breckyn Bussey, Alyssa Wilson, and Katie Schaible.
