UPDATE: BMX star in medically-induced coma being weaned off sedatives

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- We checked late on Tuesday afternoon for an update on the condition of a local BMX star.
Friends are still expecting Brett Banasiewicz to be brought out of a medically-induced coma.
Banasiewicz was injured last Thursday in a riding accident in Virginia.
His mother told us she expects him to be okay.
