UPDATE: Death toll reaches 36 in fungal meningitis outbreak

The death toll continues to rise in the fungal meningitis outbreak.

Right now 36 people have died from complications related to tainted steroid injections.

Here's a look at the latest numbers from the CDC:

• 510 cases have been reported across 19 states.
• Michigan still has the highest number of cases at 178 patients and 10 deaths.
• Indiana has 57 cases and 6 people have died.
