UPDATE: Midnight shows already selling out for 'The Dark Knight Rises'

Are you planning to see one of the summer's biggest blockbusters, "The Dark Knight Rises"?

Well, ABC 57 News has you covered. Two local theaters are making big plans to show sneak peeks at midnight on Friday.

Some of the showings have already sold out and both theatres have added extra screenings since we first checked on Wednesday.

Cinemark Movies 14 on Edison Rd. in Mishawaka is having a midnight showing. They will show the film on nine screens at 12:01 a.m. on Friday.

Three of the showings are already sold out (checked at 1p.m. on Thursday). Employees said that people are expected to start lining up around 10 p.m. on Thursday.

Tickets are available at the theater's’s ticket booth or online at Fandango.com. You can also buy mobile tickets with your smartphone.

This theater is offering a Dark Knight Marathon package for $25 a ticket. Moviegoers can watch the trilogy in digital, starting with “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight”, leading up to the midnight premiere of “The Dark Knight Rises”. The fun begins at 6:15 p.m.

AMC Showplace 16, on Chippewa Ave. in South Bend is also having a midnight showing of “The Dark Knight Rises”. It will play on six screens. Shows start at 12:01, 12:02, 12:03, 12:04, 12:05, and 12:06 a.m. on Friday.

None of the showings are sold out yet (checked at 1p.m. on Thursday). Tickets are available at the theater's’s ticket booth or online at Fandango.com.

This theater is also offering a Dark Knight Trilogy package for $25 a ticket. Moviegoers can watch Christopher Nolan’s three-part story, starting with “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight”, leading up to the midnight premiere of “The Dark Knight Rises”. The fun starts at 6 p.m.
