UPDATE: Statewide Silver Alert canceled for missing 96-year-old man

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. -- A statewide Silver Alert has been canceled. The Zionsville Police Department and Indiana State Polcie were investigating the disappearance of a man from Zionsville, Ind. on Wednesday.   Zionsville is located five miles north of Indianapolis, in Boone County.

96-year-old Wesley Manning, Sr. was missing on Wednesday morning. 

Manning disappeared around 6:15 a.m. in Zionsville, Ind.

He was believed to be in danger and may have been in need of medical attention.

Manning walked into the Marion County Jail in Indianapolis and was found safe and well.

The Silver Alert was canceled at 3:05 p.m.

The Zionsville Police Department and Indiana State Police thank everyone for their cooperation and assistance in Manning's recovery.
