UPDATE: Suspect's name released in Berrien County high-speed chase

NILES, Mich. – New information has been released on a high-speed chase in Berrien County that police say stemmed from a drug bust.

Police say Taurean Young delivered some crack cocaine to an undercover cop Monday night. When officers moved in, Young sped off in his car. That's when he blew through a stop sign and rolled it into a ravine.

Both Young and a passenger were taken to the hospital.

Authorities seized $1,200 worth of crack and $1,700 in cash.
