UPDATE: Two dead in Elkhart County five-car crash

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind.-- Two people are dead after a car on S.R. 15 crossed the center line, and plowed into another vehicle.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department said that crash caused three additional collisions on Thursday, just before 5 a.m.
Traffic is now completely blocked off on State Road 15. Officers are rerouting traffic, and motorists are not able to drive south of U.S. 20 on S.R. 15.
A crash team was on the scene investigating.
It is unknown if the accidents are weather related, but drivers are urged to be cautious in the wet and windy weather.
