UPDATE: Victim in South Bend shooting in wrong place at wrong time

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – ABC57 News has uncovered new information about one of the teenage victims from Saturday night's double shooting in South Bend.

Sentail Holt, 16, is a sophomore at Riley High School. According to her friends, she was just getting ready to leave the East Race parking lot, when gunfire erupted.

Her best friend said she was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

“Sentail, she was a really positive person, everybody knew her laugh cause she had a really unique laugh,” said DaJah Robinson. “You know anytime she was around we had a really good time. I don’t' know anyone that had problems with her.”

Friends told ABC57 doctors are keeping a close eye on Sentail to make sure the bullet doesn't move. They currently can't take it out because it's too close to her major arteries.
