US 20 reopens after 4 semi crash

The westbound lanes of US 20 were shut down Monday afternoon at Fail Road because of a four semi crash.

According to the La Porte County Sheriff's Office, a westbound semi was slowing to stop for the traffic signal at Fail Road when it was rear ended by another semi.

This created a chain reaction accident involving three semis and one box truck.

The driver of the box truck complained of chest pain after the crash.

The crash happened around noon and the road reopened around 1 p.m.
