U.S. 30 lane closures near Hanna and Hamlet beginning April 25

Two sections of U.S. 30 will be reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge preventative maintenance work beginning on or after April 25, the Indiana Department of Transportation announced.

U.S. 30 will be reduced to one lane at the following locations:

• Between Thompson Street and C.R. 1350 S over Hunsley Ditch (LaPorte County)
• Between C.R. 750 E and C.R. 500 N over Jain Ditch (Starke County)

The right lanes and shoulders will be closed during this first phase of work.

Work for the first phase is expected to last about two weeks.

Overall work will be ongoing through late May.
