MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. – Lane closures on the U.S. 31 bridge, over U.S. 30, will begin on or after Friday, July 30, the Indiana Department of Transportation announced.

The closures are in place for a bridge deck overlay and approach slab replacement project.

During phase one, the northbound and southbound right lanes will be closed.

Passing lanes and all ramps will stay open.

During phase two, work will flip to the left passing lanes.

Please be prepared for changing traffic patterns.

Crews are expected to work through mid-October.

INDOT asks drivers to please stay alert near crews and to follow traffic directions carefully. Please slow down, allow extra time to travel, and drive distraction-free through work zones.
