US-Canada border will stay closed to non-essential travel until at least November 21

The border between the United States and Canada will remain closed until at least November 21, 2020, according to a tweet posted Monday by Canada’s Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness.
We are extending non-essential travel restrictions with the United States until November 21st, 2020. Our decisions will continue to be based on the best public health advice available to keep Canadians safe. More info:https://t.co/EZ3pi3asJr

The border closure impacts non-essential travelers.
Restrictions on travel through the border began in March and have been extended each month since then.
Workers including health care professionals, airline crews and truck drivers are still allowed to cross the border under the restrictions.
