US31 bypass reopens after chemical leak

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. -- The US31 bypass was closed for two hours Tuesday morning after a truck leaked liquid nitrogen vapor.
The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. between the 13 and 15 mile markers on the bypass.
A valve that normally discharges some materials released too much.
The road was reopened around 9:30 a.m.
