US31 to be closed periodically Tuesday

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- US31 between Kern and Jackson roads in South Bend will be closed periodically between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 18.
AEP crews will need to close the road for 15 minutes at a time to relocate power lines.
All traffic will be stopped for about 15 minutes at a time approximately 5 times throughout the day.
