Vehicle rear ends South Bend school bus

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A vehicle slid into the back of a school bus carrying several Jackson Middle School students Thursday morning, according to South Bend Police.

Just before 9 a.m., the bus was stopped in the area of Lombardy and Ford and the car slid into the back of the bus due to ice on the road, reports said.

There were five students on the bus at the time of the crash.

No injuries were reported.

The students were picked up by another bus and transported to Jackson Middle.
