Veteran's job fair in Benton Harbor draws

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Veterans got a chance to show off their resumes on Thursday at a special job fair in Benton Harbor.

More than 30 Berrien County employers took applications at the Western Michigan Campus in Benton Harbor. They also did on-the-spot job interviews.

The event was hosted by the Michigan Works and Michigan Veterans Services.

They said there is a skill set that the military provides that employers are looking for.

"If I can get everyone in one spot, veterans can shop around look at the employers, and employers can have a shot at getting an employee," Alicia Razor, Michigan Veteran Services, said.
