Victim of Nordstrom shooting dies from injuries

The woman who was shot during the Black Friday sale at a Chicago Nordstom's has died from her injuries.

Police say the woman's ex-boyfriend shot her in the head before turning the gun on himself.

The woman was set to turn 22-years-old this weekend, and her family had planned a surprise party for her after she got off of work that night.

The store has released a statement expressing their sympathy for the woman's friends and family.

"It's been a really sad and scary situation, obviously to be involved with if you were there. At Nordstom we're a family. Our people are very impacted by this and we're doing our best to support them today," said Tara Darrow, a spokesperson for Nordstoms.

The medical examiner identified the gunman as Marcus Dee, who officials say stalked the woman.

The woman and her family had all, at various times, requested orders of protection against Dee.
